Pleated Blinds

Our made to measure pleated blinds are an excellent blind solution to control light and privacy with their delicate concertina folds, offering a soft shading effect.

They have several properties and designs, made from either a standard single layer of fabric with visible cords and free hanging or double layers of fabric called cellular which has thermal properties and no visible cords and free hanging.

The thermal fabric is a great option for reflecting sunlight and heat in the summer, keeping rooms cooler whilst providing warmth in the winter by reducing heat loss when it is colder. Tension pleated blinds are a great option for conservatories, roofs or skylights, they operate via guide wires which run through the fabric and along the length of the window, they are tensioned with springs enclosed within the blinds headrail. Allowing the blind to operate at any angle, even when the blind is completely horizontal.

There are a vast range of fabrics to choose from including standard, dimmable and blackout in a range of colours. Pleated blinds are perfect for light control, especially when choosing blackout fabric to minimise light. They are a practical solution to suit any budget in any environment.
